It is fun to be a part of this online community, to share what I am making and offer my finished pieces for sale.

I have been sewing, quilting, and making fabric art in some form for many years. I love trying new techniques or modifying old ones. You can learn a lot from the masters of a craft, but I find my favorite thing is to put my spin on it. I have created many, many quilts for family and had commissions of all varieties from window seats to elaborate original design art quilts. I have also made a fair bit of clothing for myself. I have even been on a DIY show called Uncommon Threads (now long gone), sharing step-by-step what my process was for several pieces. I have loved every minute of it.
